Tomorrow is Spring Festival~ Do you like Chinese New Year? How do you celebrate the feast day in China?

Hello mechow! Sounds great when it is the new Year eve in china tomorrow! Well, I haven't heard much or I even don't know about the feast in china tomorrow! I would be happy if someone could explain me what the spring festival is and how they celebrate it! I'll be highly gratified to know about the culture there! And by the way! Hi Mr Chow, are you Chinese too? I like Chinese New Year a lot but unfortauntely I'm gonna have to stay here for Chinese New Year :-( so I don't think there is whole heck of a lot of to do... We usually go visit the families and get lai see(red pocket that has money in it), have a great feast and stuff, a really fun festival!

What a pity that you can't go back to China for Spring Festival.But you can watch the spring festival gala evening of CCTV.I think there will be lots of celebrations in USA,because there are so many Chinese. Most of all,Happy Chinese New Year!
