Japan left-back Yuto Nagatomo has joined Inter Milan on loan until the end of the season. The defender joins from Cesena.
Yuto Nagatomo is excited and really happy to play for Inter. He is a good defender, but he must compete and try to earn his starting spot with Inter. He will have tough competition.
What are your thoughts on this transfer?

It is good for his country and Asia.
Hope next season would be better and he can score a lot of goal.

It seems to be a trend in European football to buy Asian and especially Japanese players, especially side players. After the success Kagawa had at Dortmund, Honda at CSKA and Uchida at Schalke and now that Japan is Asian champion, it seems that many teams want Japaneses players. They are very disciplined and very quick players also. But I hope that Inter will have no benefit from the transfers it made, as I hope that Bayern will knock them out this season from the Champions League. As for the Italian championship, I think that Milan will win it.

I think it was a good pick up. Inter could use depth at left back as there isnt much depth behind Chivu and maybe Zanetti. Yuto Nagatomo won't play much but the little he will play will help Inter tremendously. Watch out for them in the Champions League with this new signing they may play well if he plays well.
