Your computers ram might be low or there could be a problem with your game card.try to use low size games. And install anti-virus that will detect any virus in the game.

Depending on how old your laptop is this could relate to a number of things. Firstly, games use a lot of resources including system memory or ram and they tend to need strong graphics specifications as well and perhaps your inbuilt graphics card is not up to scratch in terms of what the games may need. You are ok surfing the net as this doesn't require a lot of resources at all.
What I would recommend is to see if you can firstly upgrade your memory in your system. This is the goldern rule when it comes to memory, always upgrade your system to the maximum amount of memory that it can support. Here's a very useful website for you to have a look at and I use it myself when I purchase my memory. They have this free scanning tool which scans your system and it lets you know how much memory you have in your system, the type of memory and the maximum amount of memory that your system can support. The website is www.crucial.com
Does your computer only shut down when playing games? Or does your computer shut down at other times as well when not playing games? If this is the case then I'm thinking that your issue may be heat related whereby your laptop is warming up significantly inside and it shuts down automatically to protect your cpu or microprocessor as heat is very damaging to this. I think that it's highly likely though that your system specifications do not meet the minimum requirements of the games you are trying to play. Good luck. Andrew

The first thing that you should check is if the minimum system requirements for the game meets your system configuration...
Try uninstalling the game and reinstalling it.
the other possible thing could be that your processor is getting to hot when you are playing the game and hence it shuts down the computer... so check by playing some other game..
