I Have Noticed. Christians Denominations Are Judgemental to Other Religions.....

I have noticed that most Christian denominations are judgemental to other religions and beliefs. Most Christians would say that non-Christiana would not go to heaven instead non-Christians would go to hell. Most Christians would say non-Christians are under by Satan. I have noticed that most Christians do not know how to tolerate other religions. They knew that their belief is the "true one", and nothing else rather than other religions. We have more than a thousand religions around the world and some are sub-religions. Does it mean, all people that are in the Christian denomination would be saved while non-Christian denomination would not be saved anymore? Does it mean, Buddhism, Hinduism, Shintoism, Wiccan etc. considered them as under by Satan or they are Satanist? Christianity has this opposite of Satan --- the Adversary. Wiccan religion do not worship Satan. They are different from Satanism, still most Christian people keep insisting and believing that Wiccan religion is Satanism.

You are so right about christian religions being very biased. I was raised in the Baptist faith and could not believe how hypocrital they are. As soon as I was old enough to get out of it, I did. Then I ended up getting into another religion that was so controlling I was in it for 20 years. I know people shouldn't judge others because then they themselves will be judged. tolerance and understanding is something that more people should practice.

I think that no one has the right to judge others religion. I can say that i judge most but that is because i believe in science and things i see before me and not things that are said in a religious book or other things (no offense). But if youdo believe in your religion you shouldnt go on and tell others that they are the work of satan just because they dont believe in the same things as you. Even then i think that Christians should not judge other religions because they have very weird beliefs that really don't make any sense in my head.

It's true. Christians are insanely judgmental. I think that I have only met, maybe, one or two Christians who are not judgmental, but the vast majority of the ones that I have met are very judgmental, even though their Bible tells them not to judge. There are two verses in the Bible that tell people not to judge, but they do it anyway. I think that's hypocritical. People who are Buddhist and Hindu do not worship Satan, they believe in Nirvana and Enlightenment, something they would know if they actually tried real meditation once in a while. I have and I love meditation. Wiccans believe in the elements and being at one with nature. Many of the things they do are to save people, not hurt them. Thanks to the Wiccans, my house is ghost and negativity free. Yoga is also something I know that Christians are against, but Yoga helps keep me calm and collective. It relieves stress and tension from my body. To me, if people are closed-minded about religion, they open themselves to a world of hurt. There is so much that other religions have to offer, and we can all learn something from them.

All religions have the same high judgment about themselves... that is why we have had so many wars and deaths over religion. Everybody is out to prove the supremacy and legitimacy of their own religion and either undermine others or convert them to their own fold. Christians are no exception. And this concept of Satan is also there in all religion....it goes hand in hand with the concept of heaven and hell. All religions have this allurement of entering heaven and thus avoiding and belittling Satan.

I respect other religion, and I would not say that if youre not a christian you can never be save, I believe that if you live an honest life you can be save. I also believe that religions makes its member a better person so if youre not a good one that can only mean that you dont fully believe in your religion. Religions teaches respect and love to other human beings and also to all living and non living creatures.

The same thing can be said about Muslims and other. People like to comment on things they don't know. No where I read that state such things. Sayings like these just cause tensions and religious divisions. They use the God name and slander it in the things they do. Mos of there people aren't even fit to be preachers.

In my opinion, it all depends on who you're talking to. There are over 100 Christian denominations and there are a lot of 'liberal' Christians out there who have different views from what I consider 'hard-core' Christians. Me, I place myself in a more liberal setting to where I respect other cultures AND religions. I believe that as long you be believe and have faith in something unseen to your own eyes and live your life on a good path, then you'll get to where you want to go when you pass. I am an advocate for Wiccan religions and the largest denomination of Christians of of course the Roman Catholics who have a biased most of their practices on Pagan beliefs and rituals just to entice those people to switch over to their religion instead. To me personally, there are too many politics going on in Christianity an we, as a whole, have lost the general message. To love, respect, and above all tolerate those who are different from you. God wants us to love all, and if you look at the key teachings of most religions, it's almost the same thing.

Well, you seem a bit intolerant about Christians yourself. So I most Christians believe that people who don't accept Christ aren't going to heaven. That's their beliefs. Your beliefs happen to be different. So many Christians believe you are under Satan's power. Do you even believe in Satan? If not, why would you care that someone things you worship him? Now, if a Christian is actually mistreating you because you're not that's a different story. You don't think Christians are right, does that mean you don't tolerate us? If you are as tolerant as you expect Christians to be, you would simply accept our beliefs as our beliefs. As long as we're not trying to put you through hell while you're here on earth, does it matter? What I've noticed is that most people who point the "tolerance" finger aren't that tolerant themselves. So, here's how we should be. Hello, I'm ParaTed2k, I'm a Christian. More specifically, I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I believe my religion is the "one true" religion. Do you follow any spiritual belief system? If so, which one? If not, then that's all right too. I'd like to learn what you do believe, and sometime I'll tell you more about mine (if your interested). Meanwhile, have a great day!

I try to not be judgmental, then again I am trying to get out from under the "Christian" mentality that so many do profess. I have been attacked by many, including my own family who says I am in a cult. Yet they or their children who profess to follow the L♥rd are really no different from unbelievers I know. I am not saying I am perfect, no one is, but there has to be a balance, and when you get Christians who say it is all about grace, they are so totally off track. Besides, if it was all about grace, why are they judging?? After all, there is only One who is worthy of judging, I am not and neither are these Christians..

Hello INtrovertshy, Well, Personally speaking I think i have gone through of this debate myself even though i haven't really participate in a deeper sense. knowing that engaging in a debate will lead to nowhere but insults and numerous name callings and probably accusations as both parties due to some historical records of some abuses from one side to the other. I often get tired when ever a priest starts criticizing the protestant religion due to their lack of scoping the entire bible as a teaching.. I do believe that GOd has a reason to have allowed us and other religions in this planet. otherwise, he wouldn't allow it to exist.

I think you need to be very careful when you use the word "most", as this would imply that the majority of Christians (and there are millions of us,) are in your words, "judgemental", and intolerant of other relgions and would also mean you have somehow become privvy to "most" of their ideals and opinions. I happen to be of the Christian faith and am neither judgemental or intolerant of others religious beliefs and would not in any way say that eveybody else is under Satans rule and will not be saved.Your statements in and of themselves are very "judgemental" and my i say, very unfair as well. All religions believe a certain way and yes there are some including "some" Christians who fall under the category of being judgemental and intolerant and that would include atheists as well.but, to group Christians into one big ball of intolerant people, is not only wrong, but totally unfair.

I really don't tackle much about religion since it will sometimes not end with satisfaction. First, you're also being judgmental to Christians. Maybe others would have said that non-Christian would not go to heaven but have you heard the whole amount of the story behind that? We all have our freedom, that is one thing that God has given us "free will" to choose where we think we should be, what should we decide and others. We are all human, whatever we do there's always criticism. You weren't able to tolerate the Christian religion as well that's why you're raising it here. I also think that every religion believes that they are what you say "true one" religion and not just Christians. Even Satanism would say that they are the "true one". Instead of focusing on other's fault why not just ignore them and be happy with the religion or beliefs you've choosen to be with. As long as no one harms you that woudn't matter much. If they say this and that, and you think you're in the right path why bother listening? You should be able to stand firm with your beliefs.
