Do You Know Where Do You Go If You Die?

Have you think about it? And are you afraid to die? Everytime I am alone at my own room, sometimes I would ask myself that if I die, where do I go? Heaven, purgatory, hell or I would just stay here on earth and do the 'unfinished business' or I would just roam around like going to malls, watching movie alone without paying to the counter or I would just vanish? What I feel now is that I am either in purgatory or hell or I might be staying here on earth, but not in heaven --- never in heaven. I was baptized in the Catholic church that is why, in my mind I learned about heaven, purgatory or hell... what if I was baptized in other religions? I do not know, he he he he he.

Simply reborn. Things work in a cycle, so there cannot be a place where you are able to spend eternity, like heaven, hell or purgatory. It is impossible for things to not work in a cycle; imagine a scale with equal weights on each side; when you take a weight from the one side, you must put a weight of equal mass on the opposite side to keep the balance.

Another earth is out there somewhere, or will be born out there somewhere. Even planets are reborn.

It all depends on your faith, denomination, etc. I am a Christian pastor so by faith and the Word of God (Bible), I believe there is a heaven and a hell. I believe that one day Jesus will return and we will be caught up to meet him in the air. I believe we will be judged for the life we lived. On the other hand, if you are of another persusion you will deny everything I just shared.
You have to be clear on what you believe. Do you believe God is? Do you believe that God created everything and without him nothing was made? Do you believe the Garden of Eden was down in Ethopia? Therefore, Mose, David, Solomon were African Jews. Judism was the religion of the day.
Make up your mind what you believe. As for me and my house, "We will serve the Lord!"

So are you saying there are other holy places and "gods"?
As you say "It all depends on your faith, denomination, etc."...

Amen.
IntrovertShy, you have another post saying Christians are judgmental. Given you were baptized, I would be interested to know why you feel that way. As LBWebb said, and more importantly the bible said (and we seriously take the bible as the word of God), judgment will come. Christians are concerned to show the way as is given in the Great Commission.
In my country, we are tolerant to other religions. We don't judge but then I stand firm in my own belief. Yes, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."
Where do you now stand?

If one doesn't know, then that is scary. In fact, when people don't know, from where they go after they die to why people are different to some diseases, (Remember back when aids first came on the scene?)then fear takes over. I don't have this fear because I believe in G♥d's Word and know where I am going. Though truthfully, I rather not die, but be taken, but that is all in His hands and I trust Him completely for what is right for me...:)

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but it seems like, when you die, your consciousness just, goes away. You simply won't live anymore, and have no new thoughts, ideas or experiences. Think of it like a never-ending, dreamless sleep. You fall asleep, and just never wake up. It's a sad way to end, because it means that you will just be gone, but think about what kind of impact you made on the world... If you did something good for the world, then it will carry on, and you did something good for everyone.
