Does anyone else ever get hungry, but just really not want to eat?
I do suffer from chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia and I'm supposed to be eating as well as I can, but I go through the day and even when my stomach starts to grumble, I just really don't physically feel like eating. It's sometimes kind of a problem as I just don't bother and have a cup of tea instead usually.
Is this a common problem? I'm not sure what's causing it.

I do try, but I will try harder! Thanks!
It is really difficult when I try and think of something that might stimulate my appetite, but I can't think of anything!

Must be another of those pesky "symptoms". They really can be as varied as a shopping list.

This isn't a problem that effects me. Food is a funny thing with me, if it's around or even close by then I'll eat it and I'll eat it quickly in large quantities, if there's no food around then I don't even think about it!! For whatever reason I don't feel hungry at all unless I see food!!

The problem that I have is that I never feel hungry, but when I eat, all that hunger shows up and I eat a lot, it's really awful. With your problem, it may be that you have the physical impulse to eat, but not the psicologic one, what I would do in a case like that is to bear the hunger a while and then when you feel the psicological impulse, eat, that way the 2 impulses will start to stabilize and eventually become one

Binge eating is sometimes a problem for me too as I don't feel like eating throughout the day, but then in the evening I'll have something and the floodgates might open and I feel like overeating.
