Do you make your own cookies or buy it at the store?

My most recent purchases were for store bought ones as I had some good coupons for cookies including my one of my faves.... M&M cookies. I do like to make ones from scratch but it seems sometimes that it takes all day to get them all baked as if I make a single batch they are gone before I am finished. SO I usually make double batches. I have also started to make cookie bars so I have one pan to deal with instead of running the oven for longer periods of time.

I love homemade cookies the best but I have to say when it comes to sweet things to cook in this house I can not do it!!L.O.L. Yea I have made some homemade chocolate chip cookies that came out pretty good, but then sometimes I have burned them!! My cakes come out like over sized chocolate mushrooms!!L.O.L. So now and then I will try to make them but I do like the refrigorated cookie dough at the store too!! Simple and easy!!

There is nothing like home made cookies. Home made cookies can be enjoyed in three fazes. First you get to taste the raw cookie dough. Then there is the smell that fills the air as the cookies are baked. Then best of all when you take them from the oven and you finely get to enjoy the finished product with a nice glass of milk. I don't make cookies too often because I don't like the time it takes to bakes each separate batch. It just takes too long. Some store bought cookies are ok but not chocolate chip cookies. They are best home made.

I haven't bought or made any cookies in a really long time. However, I did buy some peanut butter, JIF creamy, especially for making cookies just before Christmas. I was planning to make some peanut butter cookies, but I just never took the time to make them. I think about it every weekend, and really should make them sometime in the near future. I have bought the premade cookie dough in the past as well. But that has been at least two years ago. I did make some homemade candy and dipped pretzels the year before at Christmas, but haven't really done anything except for cakes and puddings since. This discussion has really gotten me in the mood to bake some cookies. I wished I would have read it earlier. Perhaps I would have baked some cookies while I was posting.

i like both if i have the time i would rather make homemade although they usualy dont come from scratch usualy from a package where i add the ingredients.. but i like lots of store brand too chocolate chip is my favorite as well

hi mermaidivy, I love cookies but I don't know how to make one. Haha! I love chocolate chip cookies but it should chewy and really tasty. I usually buy them at food stores. I also love my sister oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, it was so good.

To be honest, I do both, but I much prefer homemade cookies. I really like Mexican wedding cookies and unbaked cookies and make them when I'm in the mood for something sweet. Peanut butter cookies are another homemade favorite. But sometimes when I buy groceries, the cookie aisle calls and calls to me until I have to go and see what's there.

i don't eat cookies unless they are home made. i do buy store bought cookies for my kids for their lunches but i prefer home made cookies, though i dont make them from scratch, i buy the frozen cookie dough.

Baking is my passion. I bake a lot of cookies especially during festive season to give away to friends and relatives. One of my favorite cookies is also chocolate chips. I can never have enough of them and I make sure that I always have them at home.

My husband and I do a little bit of both. We have made our own cookies, but we will also buy them.

I make my own. I usually check on youtube and search for some recipes there. CHOCOLATE CHIP is my favoooorite.

i love to bake but i do not own an oven.. lol i only bake when i am at my mother's house, she have an oven. hahaha.. but i love cookies and when i crave for one, i do buy at the bake shop and i am picky with cookies as well. i do not like dry cookies, i love ones that is crispy outside and moist inside... i personally love chocolate chip cookies and choco crinkles:))

I prefer making my own cookies. For one thing they are better tasting, but that way I also know exactly what is in the mix! No preservatives or too much fat! I can switch out with healthier alternatives for sugar and butter too.

I prefer homemmade cookies, but I do buy store bought cookies as well. I do most of my holiday baking around Christmas time and give them out as homemade gifts. I also participate in bake sales. I like to make chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookies. I will sometimes buy the Pillsbury cookie dough and make cookies that way as well. The next time Pillsbury has a bake off contest I will definately enter.
