I am in Missouri and we are getting hit by it. Right now it is 20 F and it has been windy and snowing all day. Everything here is shut down. I think I am lucky to have internet still. I will enjoy it as long as it lasts. I guess my doctor's office knew something when they rescheduled my appointment from tomorrow to Monday. I don't know how much snow we got so far, but yesterday they were predicting 15 inches and it would be drifting. My brother tells me that the drifts in his driveway would prevent him from being able to drive anywhere. I hope that all people are safe and warm. I don't plan to go outside any more than it would take to go to the next building in order to get more ice.

Yes, I will be stuck in this motel room, but I am safe and warm. As long as I have the internet, I will be happy. If that goes down, it will be hard for me to function. I just need to make sure that I keep enough ice on hand that my water stays cold. I could sit around all day and not get bored. My brother keeps calling to find out if I need anything and I keep telling him no because I have everything I need...the internet and computer, food and drink, and a heater. What else could I possibly need? If the power goes out, I could always take the blanket from the second bed and add it to the bed that I use in order to stay warm. Stay warm!

I'm right in the middle of it. Perhaps right in one of the worst parts of it. Pretty much the entire town that I am in is shut down. Schools were cancelled, and everything that goes along with that. A bit of a mess to be honest with you. I heard somewhere around twenty inches, maybe two or more feet when its all said and done. Its not good times.
Thankfully people are not trying to drive in this weather. Not that they can go anywhere mind you, with pretty much everything closed. Thankfully we got supplies and should be able to ride out until the weekend. When things are going to heat up just a little bit. At least that is what I hope is going to happen but you just really never know these days. Still bad times. Everyone be careful if you're in the blizzard and use common sense.

i live in the western united states and i don't believe we are getting hit. i will have to check. i really wish we got hit by this blizzard though! because they i wouldn't have to go to school. but i don't want the blizzard to cause car accidents, fatalities, etc. if it can cancel school without causing car accidents, that would be nice lol
