Let's talk about Global Warming. Then let's talk about HAARP.

Is global warming for real and are we to blame?
I know we (including me) abused nature one way or another but somehow I do believe this global warming thing is out of proportion and a few people behind this are making piles of money out of "pushing" greener Earth.
And what about HAARP? What do they do...exactly in that facility?

I am only going to address the HAARP part of this discussion. I will start with what HAARP is NOT doing. HAARP is not manipulating weather. HAARP is not causing earth quakes. HAARP is not causing tsunamis. HAARP is not causing volcanoes to go off. HAARP is not doing any of the outlandishly ridiculous things many on the internet and conspiracy related TV shows are claiming it is doing. It cannot do these things, it was not designed to do these things, nor can any of the things claimed be done with any current technology we have.
So what is HAARP? HAARP is a facility associated with the University of Alaska dedicated to research pertaining to the ionosphere. It focuses on using the ionosphere to improve communication and surveillance. That's about it. I realize it may not be as exiting as a lot of the pseudoscience nonsenses that gets spread around, but it is still cutting edge, important communications research.
For further information, just go straight to the source. Here is the actual website for the facility: http://www.haarp.alaska.edu/

I don't know about haarp but as regards to global warming its widely accepted now throughout the world and it is a very real problem. Few are still discrediting global warming except those who stand to lose out if people really stand up and listen, like gas and coal powerstation owners. Basically the longer it takes for us all to react to it the more money they make. Global warming is definitly happening though.
