Hi All, Manchester United continued their pursuit of another league title with a fine win over Aston Villa. Rooney scored a brace after almost 11 months to give his team a win. Capello was watching from the stands and would have been impressed by his performance. Man U seems to have hit the form at the right time and are looking to hold on to their lead till the end. Can they manage to remain unbeaten remains to be seen, but their fans will be happy with the title rather than the unbeatable tag.

Good to see Rooney back with some goals he has been disappointing this season but Berbatov has delivered the goods to save Rooney from further discrimination.. Good goals from Rooney and Vidic to get them the 3 points and help them maintain their 5 point lead at the top of the table.. I dont think that they can have an unbeaten run this season they have a pretty tough list of fixtures in the next few months.. Having to play: Manchester City on 12th Feb Chelsea on 1st March and 7th May Liverpool on 6th March Arsenal on 30th April

Wow, they indeed have very tough fixtures on hand. Also, they will compete in Champions League. Will they remain unbeatable? Lets see.

Although they have tough fixtures in hand, so do the other teams ...In a league, I believe the winning team is not the most powerful team, but the most consistent, and United has proven that for years, and will prove that for centuries to come!

Man United is beginning to look a bit scary now. Whole of last year they were playing badly but kept on picking up points. Now slowly they seem to be getting a bit of form. With Rooney now starting to score, things seem to be getting better for Manchester United. They have some real tough ones on the road from here on but still they are beginning to look better. Cheers! The season is entering a difficult phase now. It would also be a test of the bench strength now as there are so may games lined up.

I cannot agree more with you...Goals from Rooney and Vidic are absolutely world-class ...But, I believe the credits must also go to the assists, namely van der Sar and Nani...They have supplied superb balls to Rooney to write his name in the score sheet for the first time since January ...Nevertheless, I am less interested in the United's unbeaten run than the prospect of making history of winning the 19th league title, passing Liverpool's record of 18 league titles...

Of course, if there are no assists there will be no goals. Thats why its a team work.

No way will they remain unbeaten. They have played well of late but I believe Rooney will be inconsistent down the stretch and I think, Man City, and Chelsea have chances to take point from Man U. I think Chelsea will beat them at least once considering they play twice in a short span. Plus lets not forget Man U has drawn 9 times this season. They will lose some and draw some more this season, and don't be surprised if the last day of the season Chelsea and Man U are tied on points.

Yes, it will be down to the last day and that is what makes premier league interesting. Also, Arsenal and City are the other teams to watch out for.

Manchester Utd. did very good performance out there. Two bulgarians 1 versus 1, it was fun cuz I'm from Bulgaria. Rooney is a good player and i'm happy that he scorred and assisted. Berbo made unforgettable miss front of the empty web. All the team mates played a good match and i think this is the SEASON for Manchester United.
