hola!
you know, when i was in high school in granada, my religion teacher, sr. baltazar, who is a catechist asked his students to write in 1/8 sheet what is our ambition. then, he was impressed by reading one by one what we wrote. he stopped when he took out my paper and had read "to be a writer". i could not forget him, the fact that it was our first meeting. to my mind, i got the best impression from my teacher among the class. my feeling then was nothing. i did not mean to impress my teacher or to be noticed or to establish a good image with my classmates. it was nothing a natural thing or act that is still in me up to now. since then and until now, i used to do and think of things in different ways. i thought of being a writer just nothing. i felt that to be a writer at that time, i could be different.

I can remember wanting to be an astronaut when I was about 13; but then that shifted to wanting to be an actor. I also fancied being a Pop or Rock musician. I wrote song in my late teens; then I went to acting school. I did some professional acting for a while; then went to university to set about getting a back-up career. But although I got my degree, I never really got a back up career but I had a wonderful time at university, including seveal months in my favourite city of Paris. I acted on and off for about 20 years; then I decided to concentrate more on music; and writing. I can't say my childhood dreams came true; I don't think I was ever "hungry" enough to succeed is the truth of the matter. But I'm not done yet. My writing is going pretty well. I'm hampered by financial problems. But I'm still working on my dreams. Examples of my singing can be heard here:

I wish i had the drive to set a goal and follow threw with it but in my case it i tend to fall a bit short like in a ten mile race to the finish i stumble and fall with in the first meter its kind of sad i guess you kind of get use to the disappointment in all things it might be that im a procastinating perfectionist or because i feel i dont deserve what i want

Hi Zills, it is time for you to fulfill your goal, even if you were to become a famous online writers.
Today I did some research, primarily due to the fact that I need some encouragement. I search about writers with more than ten million page views.
I have found a few, only from those writing sites that published the total page views of the writers.
I think it is an achievement to have more than 20 million page views. Everyone is writing about these writers.

When I was a kid I wanted to be an astronomer, but I was never really good at math, so I had to say goodbye to my dream, you just can't have a career in astronomy if you suck at math. As of now, I just want to run my own business, and write for pleasure. I am working on a book. I am going to get it publish for just pleasure- having something publish is going to be a great feeling, not looking to become famous just to have one copy hehe.

kinda hard if you don't fulfill your dreams in no time. but having many goals and dreams in your life is being an optimistic and thinking positive that you can do what ever you want if you do your whole best to do it.

I'm sorry, but did you become a writer? If so, that's awesome. I envy people with goals so much and I kind of hate them. Kids my age (in high school) shouldn't have goals, they should be messing up their lives and not worrying about the future. They have their whole life to worry. I have no goals, long-term at least. That way, I don't set myself up for disappointment.
