How much we pay?

How to calculate the appropriateness of our salary? whether of how much profit the company, or the duration of our work, or of how much our contribution, or from our position of market salaries at other companies? for example, we have a very small salary, but the company also was not profitable anymore, whether we deserve to ask for extra pay? you try to view from two angles, so imagine our employees, what is the answer, then imagine that we become entrepreneurs, what is the answer, and give input, have to do?

If the company can't afford the pay they are giving you then most likely if you ask for more they'd start thinking of getting rid of the extra person rather than finding money from nowhere. But if you came up with a way to increase the profit and it worked then by all means ask for the same percentage increase as the profits going up. If you know the company is not earning as much maybe its time to look at another place that will pay close or better and will allow for pay increases. I feel you are entitled to the share of profits you generate. If I was earning small amounts but knew I was generating over 30% of overall profit on my own each year I would expect to be paid acordingly,
