The Aussies are 308 for 5.... Can't the English bowlers defend a huge total of 333... What is wrong with them??...
I see the Australians peaking at the right time. At this rate, they will be a team to worry about during the world cup.
I would certainly hate it to see them in the finals, yet again.... :P

Yeah I have told you already in your previous discussion that it is very difficult to say who gonna win this...it was looking like a big total of 333 but a few good partnership make it looks very easy to chase..Actually cricket is really unpredictable...so Australia is going to join the world cup with a high level of confidence...

Dear Balu,
I hate to disagree, but this time, i have to.
I saw only only 12o minutes of the total match. England dished out absolute rubbish. Either too wide outside off, or on the pads. English bowling is so depleted that Trott, Peterson & Yardy do bulk of the bowling. Even collinwood was unavailable to bowl. Too many shots airy shots landed in no mans land. Johnson was bowled but the bails did not fall. Trott dropped Clarke at crucial time & bowl went for four too !
Just Australia's day against a heavily weakened English team.

The Aussies have been having too many good days off late... Hopefully in the world cup, they have a lot of bad days....:D

haha... nice one Balu... But they seem to have a lot of luck...
But this time around, it wont work much... They are a very very weak team and how does anyone expect a team to win without a quality spinner in the squad.... Their lead spinner was Hauritz who averages 70 in India... Mind you... its his bowling average, not batting.... :-D :-P

They are indeed peaking at the right time or probably not so as they are pretty consistent in this format of the game...would like to see other teams but wont be surprised in Aussies make it ot the final.

Yes Australia has given themselves a big boost for the defense of their world cup title fourth consecutive times by beating in form England side 6-1. Their moral will be particularly high because of winning today match by overhauling huge English score comparatively at ease barring last minute hiccups. On the other hand English hopes of winning the world cup for the first time must have received a major jolt as they could not defend such a mammoth sore. First time in the history of world cup cricket English side has got some hope of winning the trophy.

There is no better time for Australia than this to win a series. And to lead a series 5-1 just before the world Cup can do wonders to a team's confidence, especially for Australia, who were facing the wrath of public after their recent performances in the test series.
