What's the main difference between Corel Draw and Photoshop? Which do you prefer and what do you use it for?

I prefer Photoshop. All most all the image editing features are included in the Photoshop. Its a great software. Corel Draw has some pre-made photo effects. But you can make the same effects by mixing the various filtures of photoshop.

Corel Draw Vs Photoshop - Corel Draw Vs. Photoshop
Corel Draw is a dedicated Vector Editor Program and Photoshop is a Bitmap Editor program and aslo can be used for wvetor edits, however the Vector edits may be done in Adobe Illustrator.   I use Photoshop CS2 for my Bitmap Editing..

corel draw - corel draw
I definately prefer Corel Draw. The designing system is a whole, and in controversy with photoshop, lets you do many things that you can decide to keep them or not. I use Photoshop rarely. I prefer Corel Photo Paint instead

Photoshop and coreldraw are differeny in many aspects.. coreldraw is concentrqted on vector graphics and photoshop in raster or bitmap images.. even if the latest versions of photoshop can handle vector graphics, that software is intended for bitmap images.. so it is a photomanipulation software.. coreldraw is mostly used in pre press process.. as photoshop is for web and photo editing
