Problem with yahoo messanger...please help friends

I have asked for help earlier ..but still it is not solved.
When I enter a instant message into the chat box there is nothing appear in it
Can any one tell me the cause of it?

I am wondering that when you uninstall do you log off the account, clear your cookies and then reinstall to see if that helps. As if you are still in the account the setting are still there. Also the the cookies.
Come back and maybe we can assist further.

On the top of the internet go to tools==then clear history== then a box opens to clear all history== say everything. This clears them out.
I use CC cleaner as it clears cookies, history and cached files. It is a free download.

I have tried your link...there are some steps described...
1st : scripting enabled in Internet Explorer. I don't know how to do it,If you have any idea please help.
2nd : at the second step they told to run two .dll files
1.regsvr32 jscript.dll
2.regsvr32 vbscript.dll
when I tried to run them they showed some error like..
the module "vbscript.dll/jscript.dll" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x8004005
please help...

lol, your puter has got virus. Better format it and reinstall a fresh version of YM directly from there website. If you got a partition, then you can try to install a fresh ver of windows there. Hope it helps ;)

u can also try imo.im u can use YM there using your yahoo username n id, no need to install yahoo for that ;)

hiii thanks for your response...I have tried to update the version...it not work..
If it's a virus attack..then will it be sufficient to cought that virus by a complete scan with my updated registered antivirus?
I don't wanna format my computer right now...

Sorry I have no answers for you, I have a hard time even getting people to use the instant messenger with me.
