how to find if a site is scam

i am having doubts if a site is scam or legit,i want to know if its legit,tell me how to find it with ease

cross verify the domain registered.

Have you searched for it in mylots discussions search engine? Also after that if no one confirms it as a scam then there's only one option but to use the site and find out then you can confirm to your fellow mylotters. Have you a particular site in mind.
