Do You Operate a Successful Online Business?

Alot of us here would love to earn money on the internet, but how many of us actually are doing that? I'm not, but I plan on doing so soon. I'm not talking about making side change from doing PTCs, surveys and other things like that. I'm talking about actually selling a product or service to people.
I am looking for any advice I can get on how to get more traffic and more sales. If you currently operate or in the past have operated a successful online business please share with the rest of us what you do or some tips on operating a successful online business. I and I think other people would really appreciate this information.

No, not yet. Just like yourself, I have been thinking of starting an online business. I have been in the international trading, import-export, business for quite some time, and it is going quite well. I think that having it online and promoting it internationally that way would be very helpful. I wish you success in your plans too !

Thanks for commenting. I agree. I think that having a business online is really advantageous because you can have a larger consumer base and your products can sell 24 hours. You can essentially make money as you sleep. Thanks for the good luck wishes. Good luck to you too:)

Hi, check out my facebook account as well. I sell women's apparels and men's jacket, all in facebook alone. But I do have resellers who helps me get more orders and earn. I also sell the Anion Napkin which is my display picture in facebook. My business is only part-time but ever since starting on April 2010, until now I am able to have some extra money. It's hassle-free too so I really enjoy doing it.

Definitely I am in the near future. Business has more power to give financial freedom than being an ordinary working employee. But my plan is even if I have my own scales of businesses (God-willing), if I'd still be hired, I will make my employment as a part-time job. As long as this gives me nice pay, I will continue being employed but on a contractual/project basis. =)

That is what I am planning to do in the near future too. I would definitely like to sell something online, through my own website to other people around the globe hopefully. I didn't know all the detail yet, but I will definitely working on it. I would like to take an opportunity to work on this project pretty soon!

I dont know if I can say that this is an online business... But in the past few days I have been successful in earning something good money....
I have started searching the net for earning money online about 5 years back when I was 15, with the name of my mom..... I have worked for almost 3 years not knowing whether a site is genuine or not until i reach the minimum payout and see that they wont send it forever(May be thats because I am too young to think about the ways to get to know about the site by searching the web)..... But about a couple of years back... I have met a few guys on net who are very much experienced(same as me though).... Then I got to know how to research about a site...
Later on(about an year a half back), I came to know about a few sites(Cyclers) which are very very genuine... I have earned quite a lot with those... Then one of the site closed suddenly because of which many of my friends(referrals) dint get anything till then... So, I stopped investing in such sites....
But it is just a couple of weeks back that I have decided to invest in this site(though i know the site for a long time, i dint dare to invest) called Club-Asteria..... This is working absolutely fine for me... I got a couple of referrals and I have already earned about 70$ in just a couple of weeks... And may be I will earn around 120$ by the end of this month... I think this site is gonna be the one for me for now....
I donno know if this is much relevant to what you want, but I felt like sharing my experience here...

The best website that I ever seen that actually pays good and if you can put some effort to it, you could be making $9 an hour, the name of the site is slicethepie. Try it out and let me know what you think of it.
