Many people get all wrapped up in man made accomplishments and how one should always be striving for constantly making progress towards different things in life. Who thinks that the greatest thing in life is appreciating every moment for being a part of a beautiful journey?

And how many people actually think and thank the One that made this incredible journey possible. This journey can go on for eternity if we show appreciation and follow the rules. “Surely God would not have created such a being as man, with an ability to grasp the infinite, to exist only for a day! No, no, man was made for immortality.” Abraham Lincoln John 17:3 (Contemporary English Version) Eternal life is to know you, the only true God, and to know Jesus Christ, the one you sent.

The journey is in fact the best part of life I think. I mean, if you think about it, that is where most of the lessons are learned. To different points, you have to learn lessons and there are successes and failures along the way. Therefore, you are going to get the most out of the journey towards the final destination, more so then the actual destination. I mean really in the end, what can you learn at the destination? You're already there, so you are not going to really get that much. However, all of the lessons in life are going to be lead from the destination and there are going to be many lessons. Whether we get there smoothly, have bumps, or get moved to a different path on the journey, there is many things that are learned from the destination of life.

Yeah I've noticed a lot of professional athletes that say they loved just playing the game when they were younger and it meant the world to them. As they went on, they started placing financial burdens on what they used to do purely for the love of it. Thanks for the response.

I think the journey is the greatest part of life, not the destination. I know that it feels good to be successful after several years of hard work, but then it would always be the memories and experiences which we will remember. The hardships and how we handled them will always be with us wherever we go.

I absolutely agree with you. Remembering all of the good and the bad make up who we really are, and give us a true grasp of what life is all about.

Well ya thats true. But achievements matter to some people so much that they forget the beautiful human life that they got to live.
