RPG in Dungeons and Dragons Online?

My friends enjoy gaming on the new FTP online version of D&D and have been asking me to join them there. I am an avid RPer and I want to know if there is any roleplaying there? Many gaming friends say there isn't but one of them said that there are guilds there that do RP... a lot. Does anyone know for sure if there is any roleplaying in D&D online and if they know of a guild or website of a guild that roleplays? Thanks!
