you can do about everything with VirtualDub + AviSynth. But you'll have to install a few (free) filters/ plugins for certain effects. If you want to invest time to learn how to use the program it's your no. 1 choice, if not I'd also recommend Windows movie Maker. It's easy to understand and comes with some basic effects and you can cut with it as well (but it's not as precise as with VD).

Hello gracelyze23, You will not find a good free video editing software for Windows . However, many are available under Linux, and you can use them with a live CD without installing Linux on your computer . Try Camtasia Studio. It's the best software I know and it's simple like windows movie maker.

IF you are looking for free software to edit your movie than use windows personle built in movie editing software which called, "Windows Movie Maker". They also have so many effects in it. I hope it will work for you. Looking for your reply if you need and further guidance. regards

I should learnt the chapter of video editing. I we install the software and do not learned the way of editing that is quite impossible. so at first you have to learned the video editing system.
