Lapses in Facebook notifications/messages

I've noticed that there are times that I am not notified about recent comments made on my posts and sometimes messages failed to be delivered too. Do you experience this sometimes?

I have a facebook account too, as per my setting, i do get notifications to my email id, but i just ignore them, in the sense, i don't visit daily, just once in a week, i have no time in fact.. Thanks for sharing Cheers. God bless you, have a nice day ahead. Professor ‘Bhuwan’. .

Thanks for sharing too! We all have our preferences though, I dont usually visit my email too, I just rely on the notifications in the Facebook Home page. And sometimes notifications are late.

I experienced that before . Especially for my iphone . Sometimes the latest comments and notifications do not show up . I need to refresh up to 20 times sometimes , just to see the latest comments . Emails are faster than the notification at times too . :(

Hi JunWeif, I actually started to encounter this when I switched to their new messages. Sometimes messages arent received by the recipient. But yes, notifications are sometimes late or they never really reach me. I wonder if there's some sort of a glitch on Facebook or some technical issues that needs to be addressed. Facebook has really been one of the common communication nowadays.

Yes, I also experience this. They should update this for us to get updated on what's new on our news feeds and notifications. I was previously added by a friend and I didn't know because Facebook didn't notify me. I only log on Facebook if there is a new email of it.

Yeah, got another "no notification" incident today too. I sent a message and not only my friend was not notified, she did not receive it. I just switched to their new mail and they might be in transition mode still. I hope they will be able to fix this issue soon! :)

Yes you are not alone aha, I noticed this a lot, especially when im in mobile. And i always end up not replying or noticing the new comment until about 2 days later. I always get worried that the person thinks I am ignoring them aha :D

Right, my sister was actually thinking that I am not responding to her messages. Sometimes it is really hard to access Facebook too, while other sites are okay :s
