The thrilling victory against England last day is giving the indicator to all playing nation that don't underestimate them and i think really they are back in tremendous form prior to WC the way they had chase the such a big score 322 even after they lose some crucial player. If they carry this performance in WC also then i think they might take 4th WC successively. What you think friend about the australia performance..?

Taking world cup for the fourth time in a row ? Mission Impossible! Just a series win cannot make senses like that. In the last three world cups they had the team where each of them were a match winner plus world class player. This sqaud doesn't have so much payers like then. I heard somebody told Aussies will undergo like the West Indies at future. But I don't think so. They had lost their No. 1 ranking many days back and neither they are in top three in the ODI ranking. They lost their golden glorious days like West Indies had three decades ago. There are many contenders this time. Co-host India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are firm favourites. We can include South Africa and even England though they are not so much consistent but they won the latest T20 World Cup. Australia is favourite but not hot favourite. They have an uphill tasks to perform, it won't be easier for them like the last three years. Time will tell who will win this time and even if Aussies win we will say they had luck with them. Winning a series and winning a tournament is totally different thing

hello siliguri...
you are from north bengal right?
by the I don't think ou have seen the game of yesterday...as it was a score of 333
By the way you are write that Australia is back again in the form of wining the world cup again ...
But you have to also admire that the wicket condition will not be same ...So we have to see how they can perform in this subcontinent this time...

It will be too early to predict , they are playing at different pitch condition than subcontinent they will be tested here. They are playing against half strength England team as they have some injured players.
Cricket is very unpredictable game one player on his day can win the match for any team, australian team coming back on winning track will make world cup more interesting.

The matches were against England-A(Because of the whole lot of Injuries), not India, Pakistan or SL who are sure to perform like champs in the sub-continent tracks....
I would not be surprised even if Bangladesh beat Australia(They are not in the same group though).... And if Shane Watson gets injured and is out of the team, then they might lose a match against anyone in the world....

Hi siliguri,
I have been saying all along when they were being dumped by all concerned that the Australian cricket culture is so deep inside that they can bounce back from any condition at any time. I am still not sure about their winning the trophy for the 4th time in succession but they are going to be a big force in this world cup. A warm up match against India on 13th of Feb. is going to be the indicator how the things are going to shape up for the world cup but the real test for Aussies is going to be on 5th March playing against Sri Lanka and then on 19th March against Pakistan.
