Celine Dion because her voice is versatile. she can sing high and low notes. Love and upbeat songs. She has a great cover too. I like Mariah, but particular songs only.

I like Celine Dion. I love her rendition of My Heart Will Go On. Also, I like her because of her devotion to her family. She tries her best to find time for her husband and child. She does not only have a beautiful voice but she also has a wonderful heart.

That is very hard to say. I think that Frank Sinatra may be the greatest solo singer ever. But he has classic status now within the Vocal Jazz category; in terms of Rock, there are so many. Mariah Carey is certainly a very gifted singer, and her vocal range is incredible. Rumer is a very fine singer, somewhat reminiscent of Karen Carpenter, another of my favourite ever singers. Rumer's first album was good; and I look forward to seeing how her songwriting develops. For as I see it, songwriting is one of the most precious contributions a musician can make to the world of music. Artists who write their songs alone being relatively rare. Combine this gift with a great voice, and you are a jewel indeed.

I am very much addicted to listening to songs, songs of different decades, and of different cultures too. So, I do have many favorite singers, I must say. But, one of my favorites is Perry Como. I like the songs very much too.

Celine Dion, her songs are really beautiful even w/o the high notes. Her voice is also versatile, she can do w/ slow love songs and fast beat ones too. I like Mariah's songs too, but not all of them.

aha,i like mariah's HERO,her voice is very good.my favorite solo singer is Jay Chow,who is from China and has been hot in china even asia for over ten years.his rap in his early time changed my mind for modern music.and his chinese style in his songs is my favorite,especially his lyrics reading like poems and his melody full of sorrow make me addicted deeply in it.

My favorite solo artist is Matsuura Aya. She has a great voice and many of her songs are some of my favorites, including Momoiro Kataomoi and Yeah!Meccha Holiday.
