With all the unrest in Cairo holidays are being offered at half price for people to go there. Would anyone go. apparently yes saying that a lot of holiday places in Egypt are over 100 miles away so they are okay.
I know you could say that Egyptians still want money from the tourists that go there but things can change so fast.
So while the government are trying to get people out of the country holiday firms are letting people into the country.

but with a lot of things in life it is not the person who has been silly that suffers but the person who rescues them for want of a better word isnt it

I still would not go. I know there are areas, like Sharm el Sheik, that are safe right now, but that could change at any time, so it is not worth it for me to take the risk.

Many are going and taking their children with them too as they have already paid for their holiday and no money back but what a risk to take

Demonstrations and violence are not confined to Cairo, it's all over the country. You couldn't pay me enough to go there right now--and now they're attacking Western journalists. Anderson Cooper was beaten up and another whose name I can't spell--Amanpour?--got her windshield busted. That was in Cairo but there is unrest all over the country.

I agree I think it is going to be possible to keep it to one area only. It is bound to spread

I wouldn't go. Going to a country with violent protests is asking for trouble in my humble opinion
