The "Last" Mylotter

Well, this is an interesting concept. So, even if there was no other person here, but the site still paid, would I stay? I could spend years posting on every discussion until I had filled up the site with my responses, but I think that would be kind of boring. When it comes down to it, the main reason that I am here is the interaction with people. As I work from home these days, I kind of miss seeing and chatting to lots of people during my work day, so interacting with people here is my primary reason for being here. The money, which is no where near enough to live on, is just a bonus. So, if the people were gone, but the money was still here, I would leave too.

talking to myself is a habit of mine. So if I would discuss topics with me any myself and even get paid for it. Hell, yeeah, I'd do it LOL reminds me a bit of the movie ''The Quiet Earth'' by Geoff Murphy...

But without the admin to pay out, and no one to respond, what would be the point? Unless somehow the admin has it so that whenever a mylotter reaches a payout, it automatically pays, then again what good is money if there is no place to spent it? Unless it is only the mylotters who disappeared, the rest of the world is still here.. So the question is, would I take advantage of mylot, if I still got a payout, and was able to spend my money? Yeah, why not???

LetranKnight25, I hope you are feeling better now and that you'll think twice before having a cuppa at bedtime, lest you want to alter your rhythm. While I like the idea being the only member here, I have to say that it is just highly unlikely with such a great site like myLot where it literally recognizes your efforts and not forgetting that it remunerates. Nah, I'll still be around and hopefully catch your attention to join as well.

It's going to be a lonely place. Better play a computer game to pass the time. come on LK, go to sleep your discussion is just an after effect of the combination of coffee and the medicine.

Hi there! Interesting idea but for me mylot would be such boring without other people to talk about things to discuss,to share.This whole site is all about community,and sharing thoughts,or asking questions.

oh my g Letran wow nope I think I would then die of lpneliness as I love to know there are all of you.my dear mylot friends to respond to my p wn discussions as good or bad as they are. even now with my roomie sleeping as usual only 7 pm here on saturday night and my son who said mom I will come see you Saturday uh huh!!!!! well I did not see him. lonely yes odd as there are 90 some people here in this stupid retirement center and yet I am alone. but to be the Last mylotter wow that is the stuff of nightmares. no I think I would pray to go heavenward then. wow.

OH probably not. It wouldn't be any fun without the interaction...

I have been sick since Monday but I haven't really rested and I still mylot everyday hehe, because I have to take care of my little one and my husband goes to work so I cannot just hide in the bed. So I rest a little when my baby sleeps, and I mylot a little as well when I could.

Letran- Well, chances are my hubby and I would both survive as we're all planned out for the case of emergency, including Zombie apocalypse so I'd chat with him just to keep us sane. That said, it may prove useful for one to produce several names and speak amongst each other, a bit like Will Smith in I am Legend speaking with the store dummies. I think I would do what I needed to do in order to maintain some sense of stability. The thing is, most likely, even in a disaster there would people in other places. I just read an article a few days ago about preparing your pc for wireless in the case that the government shut down the internet services, or they were shut down in a disaster. I'm not that tech saavy but I shall be looking into it as a way to access the net if a grid goes down. Preparing for an EMP blast is even harder, unless your Bruce Wayne with a specially outfitted bat cave. We have heard that storing items in a microwave before a blast can prevent them from going out. However, you'd need an awful lot of microwaves of some size to protect everything like laptops and cell phones. And, after that who are you going to call? Most likely lines would be shut down, etc. Of course morse code is still viable communication but not many people know it. Well, that's my two cents on the end of times. Namaste-Anora

Well I really do think that myLot would be really long gone if I was the last person. Really what is the point of posting on a community where no one is going to respond, no one is going to post? Everything around that stuff. Most importantly, on a slightly more selfish manner, who is going to pay me. The entire point of the website is lost, in fact both points are lost, the payment and the interaction. I think that I would really leave or perhaps the fact that an entire Internet community vanished, I would kind of lose my mind. Which would really not be good things no matter what. I might actually lose it so much that I continue to carry on, trying to maintain the illusion that are people here. It would be quite the disturbing situation to say the very least.

Treat your cold LetranKnight : this community does not want to be infected and destroyed by you . If I am really alone, what is the interest of money ? Or is it only an illness at myLot ? In the second case, I would try to get some referrals -- I hope I will manage to get 1 or 2 myLotters better for referring than me : I have 0 ref so referring 1 active member would not be bad --, and if I am alone in the world I will be inactive at myLot. Maybe a last discussion saying : "I know that it is against the guidelines, but if somebody is alive somewhere, here is my password, let me know your name and address ."

Sure thing, I would never pass out an opportunity to talk about myself and my problems, even if there's nobody out there to listen. Plus, somebody should continue to record the main events in the world (namely, my world) so that aliens or future historians have reliable documents when they dig up the history of myLot 2,000 years from now. So you can count on me, if I'm the one left to put out the lights in here

Hahahah most of the peple who use mylot especially for money,when they achieve their goal they will leave mylot sooner or later,and i doubt that there will be a last myloter.The company might bankrupt or something like that,will not be able to pay it's users and that will lead to and end of our precious mylot community.All in all i thing that mylot will run online for at least 20 years from now,personal opinion

Nope...I'd get bored real quick. If no one responded back it'd just be way too boring. I couldn't do it. it'd just be too weird.

If I was the last mylotter, I don't think I would participate. Discussions is what this site is based on. I like to see how others respond to my posts. It is a discussion driven site. It would die out without administration and other mylotters.
