Why do people find it okay to smoke in public?

i hate walking down the street and seeing people smoke. Its basicly killing yourself and killing the people and frankly..it smells really bad. Why must smokers make it a public thing to do that?

Exactly!! But as far as i've seen, they feel it to be a matter of prestige for them!! They feel that smoking will enhance their personality!! whenever i see such smokers i get angry on their family only!! had their parents been a bit more cautious, careful and strict( where ever necessary) they wud not hav gone into it!!

Please atleast those who read tis try to propagate tis!!!

Even if u r a chain smoker, there r ways u can QUIT it!! A proper counselling and a mild treatment(if reqd.) is sufficient.!! wat is mainly reqd is the self-confidence and will power of the concerned person to quit it!!
TIS TIP IS APPLICABLE FOR ALL THE BAD, UNHEALTHY HABITS!!!

Nice discussion beano.I am a smoker too but really I do not want to smoke when I am walking it is nasty.But the other smoker,who smoke on the street,I think they just want to show us that they are proud with doing it.What do you think?
