Why does only my right eye water when I have cold?

I have a little cold right now, and I have it for two days now. And my right eye only keeps watering. Sometimes, I'm about to sneeze, but I don't, and my eye waters. But mostly, I'm just sitting at work or at home and it will start watering.. It's just so weird,.. just like now, my right eye is watering and my mom thinks that I'm crying.. but of course im not.. lol
