I just read that one in some site. Some reply dual core is much better than atom. But when I look at some laptop specs I saw Intel atom dual core processor. It's really confusing. Is it a laptop or a netbook with that kind of specs?

Intel have just brought out a dual core Atom processor for netbooks. So far there are just a few netbooks that have the new processor but more will appear pretty soon I should think.

Intel atom dual core chips are used for the latest netbook models, meaning they are an upgrade over the previous processors (i.e old Intel Atoms). If you're shopping for a fast netbook then go for the Atom dual cores.

Hi,
You will usually find the atom in netbooks and a dual core processor in laptops. The dual core will allow you to multitask as well as offer you a quicker speed.
Like buying any laptop, there is no good or bad laptop. What works for one person might not work for another. If you are just playing on facebook, emailing, and surfing the web then an atom processor will be fine. Just remember you can only do one thing really fast. If you want to surf, play games, and listen to music at the same time, then you will need at least a dual core. Also, take a look at memory as this will also speed up your laptop as well.
Good luck with your hunt.
