what is the easiest way to please a boss?

As far as i know, as long as you are doing your job the right way then i am sure your boss can be pleased. Be yourself, and do what you think is right then i guess everything will be fine with you and your boss.

I don't know if there are any hard and fast rules in pleasing bosses. There are different kinds of bosses. Some are the controlling ones who micro manage everything. Some are quite the opposite who loves delegating jobs to the point that they don't do anything at all. Still, there are others who don't have any idea what they're doing. It's really difficult to please a boss but maybe the following tips might help: Just do your work the best you can and do it properly and always meet any deadlines he set. Try to come in for work earlier than your punch-in time and leave a little bit after your work hours are done. Be very proactive and try to suggest things that could make the work done by your team more efficient. But never suck up to your boss. Always be professional in everything you do. But before anything, approach your boss and ask why he is unhappy about you. It's better to know exactly what you did to displease him so you could take appropriate actions than groping in the dark trying to please him.
