what do you think about the Ipad?

for me i dont think having an ipad is really that practical. i have a phone and a laptop/netbook. i can watch movie and play games and do some work on my netbook and also surf the net. but i dont know about what you guys think about it. what do you think?

yes you answered to your question by yourself such as ipad is just a market trend..this is not a really practical or useful device but it is just for fun or to be cool having a tablet..but not much more!!
If you have a good laptop+ a good smartphone you can do all features you want without many problems...so ipad should result a bit uncomfortable and useless..

The iPad is a large version of the iPod Touch. I have one at home, it feels much larger, but I don't think it's a very practical device, because it's just a larger version of another product. Then again, anything with an Apple logo plastered on to it, calls for 'revolutionary', even if the products are complete wastes of space.

For me, ipad is not a necessity coz i have laptop and phone as well.I'd better save my money for other purposes not for another whim.Sometimes i tend to be an impulsive buyer but i am slowly getting out of that habit.
