IS hapiness same as satifaction....

being satisfied of what you have is not necessarily happiness but it does lead you to see the beauty in the things you already have and then you realize that you are blessed, then at that time you become happy...

Yes they both are associated terms according to me. Its only when you are satisfied you will feel happiness. You may be a millionaire, you may have the best car in the world but as long as you are not satisfied with what you have you will never be happy. A poor person can be more happier than a richer person with his life if he is satisfied with what he has. So happiness and satisfaction go together hand in hand.

hello gem3072001! i don't think happiness is the same as satisfaction. i smile everyday, lots of things can make me feel happy, such as the beautiful flowers, water droplets, sunshine, blue sky and something like that. but just when i finish the difficult work or something that i paid a lot of hard work on, i will feel satisfied and happy. the happiness and satisfaction can come together, but they are different.

When we say satisfaction it is the level of possession from what you wanted or desired. When we say happiness, it is appreciating things around you. Most often than not, when you are satisfied, you are also happy. The more you are satisfied, the more you are happy. *.*

Happiness is a state of Mind,where as satisfaction is the absense of want.Can you be happy and yet not satisfied?I think satisfaction can be attained without being happy.There are so many wealthy people who can satisfy almost all their needs,but still they are not happy. Happiness is also an emtoion were as satisfaction is not.You can choose to be happy and content regardless of achievements or attainments in life.Its upto what you believe.It is true that both are in a way the two states of mind. Satisfaction is enjoyed within whereas happiness is enjoyed with somebody else.If you are happy then you tend to enjoy the experience with others.On the other hand if you are satisfied you tend to enjoy the experience well within yourself. Happiness can be measured whereas satisfaction cannot be measured. According to me No,happiness is not same as satifaction.

I think those two are different from each other. One can be happy in a moment. One can be happy w/o being satisfied. But getting satisfaction will give you happiness in return.
