I learned C++, but almost never used it and now I also forget some of its elements. C++ isn't a too hard programming language to learn compared to others, like Java. You can learn C++ easily online too, there are plenty of easy to understand courses, you don't even need someone to teach you. Maybe you should try Pascal first, I think that it is a bit easier to learn and if you understand the main structure, you can try C++ too (at least I've done this way).
