I read recently about a an American boy with the great name of Carlton Burpo who "died", went to Heaven and sat on Jesus' knee. He also met a sister who was still born before he was born. His portraya of Heaven sounded like something from a child's picture book, but many are taking him seriously. I am open minded about these things but I have been wondering. Have you had a near death experience? What happened and what did you experience?

hi pikey yes I did. quite awhile back I had what seemed bronchitis. I got up in the middle of the night to go potty. Then I started to cough
really hard, and tripped and sat down on my butt. When I finished coughing I was in a darkish tunnel with glowing lights along the floor. I walked toward a bright light that oddly did not hurt my eyes. the tunnel opened into an odd room brightly lit . There stood my mom alsonside my little daughter and this warm gentle light moved closer. Jesus stood there and held OUt his arm. I was afraid to touch him but yet.YOU will see your mother and your daughter but not now" the whole thing faded and I looked up into the concerned face of my husband. I hear the wail of an ambulance. Hesaid" I have got an ambulance for you,you just have to go to the hospital now.I cou d not wake you. You were on the floor." so I ended up in a hospital room in an oxygen tent. I was diagnosed with viral pneumonia. but I know what I saw was real and I have always been a doubter of tales like this. but I saw my mom and my little daughter there.I know in my heart it was all too real. n

I just remember what my mom told me: I was a toddler and I toddled off the front stoop...

Hi there p1kef1sh
I, like you, are open minded about these things. I don't tend to believe such things unless they happen to me but it doesn't mean that I dismiss what has happened to others. Maybe such a thing would never happen to me because I am too sceptical!
