Some people would punish you for the only mistake you do. Especially when this person does not like you too much. But we all need to realised that whenever we are at school or at work, we are all people who is still learning... and everyone has to learn from this mistake. Nobody is perfect. Yesterday i saw my friend getting scolded by his boss because he didn't place the documents in the order it should be. And now, he needs to spend hours to place it again. Whats your opinion about this?

If I was on that shoe. I try to please the person who doesn't like me and confront him/her. What the incident was too much personal. Person life and work should be separated. The boss is not showing professionalism.

It would depend, of course on whether that mistake is committed for the first time. If that is the case, the boss could have calmly explained what to do next time and that the next time he commits the mistake he'll have to be reprimanded for it. This is especially true if the employee is new and has not been given an orientation or training of sorts. But, if that mistake has been done over and over, I'm with the boss.
