Anything by Dumas
Anything by Asimov or Heinlein
McCafrey books or Piers Anthony books (prefer the scifi over the fantasy these days)

I like some of James Patterson's stuff. I love just about all of Dean Koontz's stuff and Stephen King. I find it hard to pick just one book but if I had to pick one... I think it would be a book I read not too long ago by a new author (John Shor) entitled "Beneath A Marble Sky". It was the first historical fiction book I actually enjoyed and it was a combination historical fiction, romance, action. Basically the story of the building of the Taj Mahal and shared the royal family's story behind it. Absolutely wonderful. Not boring, like many historical fictions can be!http://www.beneathamarblesky.com/

To Kill a Mockingbird is my all-time favorite book. But I also love all the Harry Potter books and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I've read the Trilogy about a dozen times and will probably read it again and again. I love it.
