The heart says, India will win the world cup. But you never know what will happen in a one day match.Australia, has come back to form at the right time, and S.Africa has recently won the one day series against India.Of course, SriLanka, is always the dark horse in the race.

You are actually right dude... India has a bright chance this time around.... And SA and SL are going to be good contenders as well... And never forget Pakistan....
But Australia doesn't have such a great chance according to me.... They are winning the matches just because of one guy Shane Watson.... And, mind you.... They have won the matches against England, who are a very good Test Team but not that great at ODI team... And also, without their playing Eleven which would include Swann, who bowls extremely well....
But England lack a pinch hitter at the end of their line up like Bhajji, Perera, Tanvir Sohail, Umar Gul, Razzaq and all.... They just have Bresnan, Yardy and others who play well at 100 strike rate or slightly above that....

according to me the number one contender for cricket world cup 2011 is INDIAN team.this world cup squad of indian team is best of all. they have 7 batsmen including all rounder yusuf pathan and 4 bowlers in their squad. the key match winners for india will be yusuf pathan, yuvraj singh and virender sehwag. australia, england and south africa will be the big obstacle for indain team .but, atlast india will win the world cup.

You are right INDIA having a lot of dangerous batsmens like sehwag,yuvraj,dhoni,gambhir and.....So INDIA have a more chances to win the 2011 WORLD CUP.

Yes INDIA and AUSTRALIA are generally very good teams in world cricket for past two-three years.But SOUTHAFRICA had also a great record.And Recently it beats INDIA in its home ground.So I think SOUTHAFRICA is also a one of the best Team for Worldcup

I think India has a really great chance of winning the World Cup this year.The whole team is really pumped and in great form and also wants to give sachin a gift and there is nothing better than giving the world cup in his hands.But other than India, i think England or Sri Lanka have a good chance in the competition.

Yes you are correct.India has a really great chance to win the mega tournament like worldcup.But I think Southafrica is also one of the greatest teams in the world cricket.So it has also a chance to catch the Worldcup.
