horseback riding in Mexico

Hi - we're going to San Miguel in Mexico in March and are thinking of going on one of the ranch experiences .... horseback riding and a meal around the campfire. Has anyone done this ? Was it fun ? I know we need to bring jeans ... any other must-do's or don'ts ? THANKS !!!
