The snake and ME

I just had a dream last night. I don't like snakes really or maybe most of the reptiles species; I'm even scared of lizards (just saying).
Anyway, I dreamed about me inside our house and got bitten by a snake, I was so scared in my dream and I wanted to kill the snake but it was gone after it bit my hand. I asked someone to tie something on my arm so the venom will stop from there. (well at least that's what i think was right).
Then someone from our house brought siberian hamsters and some ants and they placed the hamsters on the bite and it did something on my hand then they placed the ants that seems to be taking off the venom.
Yeah, I know I find my dream a bit weird.
I usually dream a lot of things since I was a kid. Like whale on a river, being shot in a big ship and drown on the ocean, and a lot more. There are also small dreams like a deja vu, seems like it happened in my dream and for real. I would not know it happen until I felt that I've been in that same situation before and I will remember my dream.
Well I don't want the snake to happen for real, really! :/
I told my friends about it and someone said that there is someone closed to me who will betray me. Some said it is lucky and read some that it is about my fear. I'm really not sure. I bet I've dreamed about snakes before but I just can't remember most of it.
How about you? What do you think my dream is all about?
Do you believe in such explanation that it is our unconscious mind that is doing this dreams? Did you dream about anything weird too?
Share your experience. :)

Yes. I dream a lot when I was younger like in an old mansion with many porcelain dolls that looked very scary but they were beautiful indeed, then later I was stabbed by the lady in red then when I saw myself I was bleeding on the bed in a room that is dark with a large window, (this is another dream)then swimming pools with large snakes that looks like an eel underneath the pool and people were swimming on it, the falling from a building, fighting with a woman that looked like zadako, kissing my crush etc....
I have lots of unusual dreams too so feel free to narrate them... and yes I agree that it is our unconscious mind that is doing all the dreams.. because it is our hidden self, our hidden desires, wants, fears and happiness... they say that what you dream is what you really want it has a scientific explanation i just don't know the details... and besides the unconscious has like an 89% of who we are... that is just being concealed by our defense mechanisms.

So the saying goes - eyes are the windows to our soul. A lot of thing that we see especially from TV can affect us. If we watch horror movies, then it's just very highly we'll have nightmares. Many things that we watch does not only consists of the spiritual aspect but have many spiritual things tied to them.

Hello Ryoko!
Welcome to mylot. :)
Thanks for your response and friend request.
There's always scientific explanation to almost everything. I believe most of the time in science. As what I read from zweeb82 from the response below it is a suppress fears, emotions, and such just like what you've said.
@zweeb I remember watching ghosts videos awhile ago but didn't had any effect on me. LOL. But it is true this kind of things can make you dream good or bad.. It is our mind that is storing all the info. :)

I believe It is your sub conscious mind's doing the tricks, the fears we have with us will be shown in the form of dreams, some times as zweeb82 said, what we see in our day to day life will also comes out in the form of dreams.
so do not worry about such dreams. Keep your mind fresh and be happy, you will see the difference.

Welll.... As far as I know, such dreams just show about something you feel internally.... May be the snake defines that you are scared from within... Something like not feeling secure or all too alone or something like that... If you are feeling very much concerned about it, then you might try meditation, which works superbly in understanding such inner fears....
And coming to deja-vu it had happened atleast a thousand times by now... But exactly the same that happened to you.... I wont remember the dream until the situation starts.... but one thing I remember is that... Sometimes, just as the situation starts, I get to know what happens after 5 mins.... I feel really really weird when I undergo that...
And sometimes, when I try to tell what will happen, to someone, it doesnt happen that way.... Its all very very weird for me to think about dreamsss...

Hello there tummalapalli. :)
Thank goodness I'm not the only feeling the deja-vu from my dreams.
I feel the same way it takes time before you feel that you've seen that situation and you've been there.
Well I haven't tried telling others about what will happen, as I have said I don't remember a thing about it until I'm in the situation for few minutes or perhaps seconds.
It is really weird right?

I have always thought of snakes in dreams as a bad thing. Especially the poinsonous ones. Like something bad happening to you. It being in your house sounds like there is trouble brewing in your home - like with someone really close to you will betray or hurt you badly.

Hello milkypink..
I've been heard an old stories or faith about dreaming a snake. It said if you been twisted or wrapped by snake, meaning you'll find someone to love or your mate :) But I also heard a different stories, like your friend said, if you've been bitten so you're gonna have a bad luck. Anyway.. it's just a dream. Don't take it too seriously. Sometime dream can be a sign of something will happen. Make us to prepare and caution. And sometime they're just a dream, nothing more. I dreamed a lot but more often I don't remember the detail when I get up in the morning.

Hello there piperu :)
Thanks for the response. You might be right that it is a sign of something that will soon happen. I don't take this seriously, I find it just a dream.
Taking precaution is taken in consideration as well. :)
