James Bond 007 Casino Royale

it was a remake? Remake of which movie? Hmm... must read more about it :p I managed to watch the DVD during the weekend and found the action really good but the story wanting. This is my take on the movie. The action sequences were good. Very high impact with lots of adrenaline pumping scenes. This new James Bond is really brutal when he handles the bad guys. No mercy. No feelings when he offs them. In fact, he seems to get off on it. I was a little lost in the beginning of the show as the mission of 007 is not very clear. Unlike the previous bond movies, the mission is very well communicated tot he audience. It was only after Bond broke into M's apartment that I have a little idea of what his mission is about. Comparing with the previous installments of the Bond saga, Royale Casino cannot hold a candle to any of them. Other than a high action pack movie, it does not bring about the mystery and suspense that the other movies has. I bought the DVD for the sake of completing the collection. Else, it is not worth it to buy and keep. A movie to fill up that void during the weekend IMHO.

i did not see the original one.. but i liked the new one... it is great.. it has great action scenes and cool sony ericsson phones.. gr8 film

I want to see it. I've heard good things about it!
