If you could travel anywhere in Africa, where would it be?

I myself would love to see places like Kenya, Tanzania or even Zanzibar. These are truly exotic places to see with it's vast, untouched by man, nature and various wild animals to be seen. Soon we would probably have no wild left if the rate of extinction goes on.

I'd love to see the untouched rainforest of Gabon and the jungles of Madagascar as well as any of the African safaris. But what I'd really love to see are the ancient pyramids of Egypt. If I had the means, I'd visit places where an ancient civilization once flourished.

Oh yes that is one of my things on my bucket list too! I just have to see the pyramids myself before I die one day!

There are a lot of places in Africa that I would like to visit. In northern Africa I would I like to visit Morocco and Tunisia. My husband has been to Morocco, he has told me about his trip, that made me interested in visiting Morroco myself. In western africa I would like to visit Senegal, the Gambia, Mali and Ghana. I am especially interested in Ghana, because I have some friends from that country. In eastern Africa I would like to visit Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. In southern Africa I would like to visit South Africa, Namibia and Botswana. My ex-boyfriend was from South Africa and one of my friends has lived in Botswana.

My mother went to Kenya back in the 1990's.
She had to take so many meds to be safe from diseases that I probably can't take, that I doubt I will ever go there.
However, she was pleasantly surprised at how many animals were still in the wild that she was sure that there would be plenty of them for her great-grand children to see some day.
Since her only grand child just turned 25 and has no children as of yet, I think those great grands are a while coming and they are still safe to see wild animals in Africa.

If I were to go to Africa, I will start with my tour of Egypt for their archeological sites. Then I will go down to Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania for some wild African Safari. Then I will visit South Africa. I heard it is a nice country. And at the end of my tour, I will visit Madagascar, Seychelles and Mauritius for some relaxation.

So far in my lifetime I have been to Tunisia as a teenager, to Kenya in my mid twenties, to the Seychelles and South Africa at the age I am now. I think that Kenya is a wonderful country because it has wildlife safaris and palm fringed beaches. The people there are very friendly and the weather is hot. If I got the chance to visit another country in Africa it would be Madagascar. There I would love to see the wildlife and look into the culture there. It also had beautiful beaches which I would adore.
