I answered a question which was posted 5 years ago. Shall I get paid for it? I am not providing the link of the same assuming that it could be a violation. So, if we attempt such so old post, do you think that we will get paid for such questions. As long as they are not at all active, they are not getting deleted form here? To show that myLot has such old people over here and they are also part of myLot or assuming that they will come back at any point of time? What you have to say on this?

This is not a problem. the post could be a hundred years old and as long as you give a quality response, you will be credited for it.

Hi all, I think if those 5 years or old posts are till reflects, the new comers will get impressed on the same that they will get an untold confirmation that people were here since 5 years and above. This of cousre, would be be a boost to the new comers. Even I think if all those people were here active, what a fun they could have been enjoyed!! Thank-s

Admin already answered it, but I was gonna say the same thing, if there is an old post about a topic, and its still active, then we should get paid for our participation there. Anyway thanks for the confirmation Alice!

hi thanks1951 if the discussion was there then anyone can answer and once you post you will be earning from posting on it even if its an older discussion. A lof of the older discussions are even more interesting than some of the newer ones as people seemed to be more creative in their thinking which meant more would be read. i[em]

Now we need to assume that many discussion are older than 4 years and above and as you said, many of them are really interesting and meaningful and just though of the same. Though the user is not aware that their discussions are come into debate and if they notice it now, they really get astonished. Thank-s

Some of mine are old too...and I think you still get paid for them even if they are years old..they then resurface so more people can answer them.

Yes, I think so. There are some really interesting topics and I don't know why they all are stopped before even reach 100 posts. Many has to say reason as payment and low income generating object. Thank-s

i sometimes post to some and i still get paid. i just type a keyword and questions or posts from years ago would still appear. i doubt if the owner would still check it or respond but it'll be good if he/she can still make it as a bert response. hahahaha..

Yes, I have seen somany people like they just registered and used for few times and abandoned. However, I am sure that if they come back and use for some time again, they will surely continue as there are a lot of improvements and they also will wonder that their those days discussions are still commenting by the people. Thank-s

My guess is, u will still be paid because u are responding to a valid post. As long as it's still around, mylot has the obligation to pay u. UNless the post is deleted after u respond to it, because it's not been under mylot's radar and mylot missed it. If not, no matter how old the post is, it's still a post there ready to receive comments.

You are right. We are paid for it. As long as the question is still part of the system they are enrolled for discussions and it is allowed to continue and we are assured to pay also. I further checked some of the oldest posts and people are still keep commenting on the old ones. Also, simply noticed that 5 years old posts are commented just before 15 days back also by someone and responses of 2-3 months are many in number and I think people like to respond to good topics regardless of what when, and who is the person behind Regards, Thank-s

That is awesome that you got a response from the mylot administration! Without seeing that I would still know the answer. It doesnt matter how old a discussion is it never expires. You can comment on it anytime you want and you will still get paid as long as you leave a quailty answer. I answer any discussion as long as I have something to say. It doesnt matter to me how old the post is. Its interesting to see all the old posts to see how many comments they have received etc.

Hi Shaggin, Sometime even I think that responding to old posts feel nice because many are interesting and debative. The old sad part is that our comments never is going to observed the user who started with and then for whom we are commenting on it. It is sure that many of our comments are not read or checked by other users as it is not pertaining to them. Also, people are more interested into responding than reading or understanding and no one want to waste the time by reading others posts. Thank-s

Hiya thanks, Yes I think that you will. I once answered one that was about three years old and I think I got paid for it too. I gave it a good response and then realized it was about three years old. Still it was already written so I could not go back and cancel it. But I do check out much better than before just in case. I always look to see how old the discussion is now. Even so I can still make mistakes canĀ“t I?

I also find discussions about that old but I don't answer them fearing that my response could be deleted but as the mylot moderator said, all we have to do to earn money here is to post quality responses. This fact is great to know. I'll keep this in mind.

Yes, we can respond to any of the discussions regardless of when it is originally posted. If we are pleased to take the topic to discuss, no doubt it is going to be paid and the draw back is that the user may not be aware that we have commented to the post as he is no more active. Thank-s

Yes, I think so. If the old post were remain for long, when we make the search function it emerges and it is a nice trend that we will get options and wide range of different types of posts and it is always expand the myLot publicity as sometimes it comes up with the site reference of myLot. Thank-s
