First, actually Bali has a wide ranges of accomodation that you can choose, you can find any luxurious hotels easily in Bali, they also have a fantastic view from Hotel Lobby or even your Room.I have visited Bali and many islands in this world but i think there's nothing compared to Bali.Bali is so interesting ,i've been there several times and i Love Bali very much like no others.

when you step on Bali island, you will feel the differences, Bali has it's mystic and magical. The peoples, culture, environment. Yes indeed true, balinese is hindu follower and they implement in daily routine. Either relaxs or adventures holiday you can get in Bali. Bali has started to become most popular tourist destination from long time ago, the service, the accommodation, transportation are second to none.

I think that Bali is a destination popular with Australian people. It is a convenient relatively short flight away from Australia, especially Perth and Darwin. There are also plenty of flights from Sydney and Melbourne. It is cheaper to fly there compared to islands in the Pacific Ocean like the Cook Islands and French Polynesia from these destinations in Australia.
Bali has white sandy beaches and palm trees. It is an island that has a Hindu religion so that is different from other Indonesian islands. It has an interesting culture and holds onto this unlike Hawaii. Bali is well set up for tourism compared to where I traveled: Sumatra. Bali has an interesting interior and there is transport to these. Bali is a cheap destination and French Polynesia is a very expensive place to go.

the arts and culture. because majority people in Bali is Hindu, not like the other islands in Java and other areas, and it affects the arts & culture part. Just for one example, Hindu celebrate Nyepi Day which on that day, for 24 hours people is not allowed to travel, to light fire, etc. It's like an Earth Day which gives the earth chance to rest just for a day. And we who aren't Hindu must obey the rules also, for me I don't mind, I love Nyepi.
