There was a discussion three years ago about these messages that you play while relaxing and they would make you lose weight. Well they have gone one step further and now you can put them on your computer and while you are surfing they flash across the screen and and turn you into a fitness freak to get you to lose weight or turn you into a top class salesman or motivate you to stop smoking or become a good parent. I used to hear about it being used in movie theaters to get the patrons to buy specific stuff, like, buy peanuts and everyone would rush out in the intermission and buy up all the peanuts, but I don't know if its really a good thing to try. Has anyone heard of someone trying it or have you tried it yourself?

I guess I'd give these messages a try, if I have full control over what they say. So, the way I think about this right now, I would have to approve each of the messages first, and only the approved ones can be displayed on my screen.
I'm curious if they work at all. I'd try any method that would keep me on the computer and actually working instead of wasting half of the day on mindless chatting and games

I did not go into all the details of whether he had qualifications or not. I suppose I should have but I was just skimming through and really didn't check that. It would be good to know if you find out any thing about it, not that I am going to try it but you never can tell, some one else might be interested because they have a serious problem of some sort. I would love to find out if it really works.

I wouldn't really do something like that. We really don't know the total effects they can have on our minds. For all you know, some day down the road you could become a totally different person and try to murder the president or something :S.
Plus, even if you did use the ones that help you lose weight, they would counter-balance with the ones on TV that make you gain weight.

LOL. You are so right. We don't really know what effect they might have and what they really do. The programme is supposed to be set by the person themself but any thing else could be in it as well I suppose.
