i am nineteen years old and have never had a real job. i have volunteered and had one temporary position during the holiday rush at a grocery store where my older brother works. but that's it. now don't get me wrong, i have been looking for quite some time now (since about age fifteen) but had no luck. i am starting to seriously think something is wrong with me. everytime i tell somebody that, they look at me like i am stupid and just assume that i am lazy. that's not true, but now that i am married, it is even worse because it looks like i am a gold digger. does anybody have any ideas of where i might be able to get a job having had no prior experience for my age range?

I actually work in Human Resources for a health system and the opportunities in health care are constantly growing. Are you a college grad or have a GED.? Are you currently enrolled in college? If not look into your community colleges and take a look at majoring in pharmacy tech, medical office assistant or radiological tech.

well i do have a highschool diploma (if that counts for anything these days) and a year of college (i'm not currently enrolled though). also i was about to start training to be a certified nursing assistant, but you know how things can be where you plan to finish something but life just doesn't work out that way...so i never really got to do that
