Increase Space/Memory

For more memory for space for files, you need a new/bigger hard disk drive. You could buy a bigger one and get it replaced with your current one, or buy an external hard disk so you can plug it into your computer, store your files onto it and then take it wherever you go! RAM helps the speed of your computer, like if your computer is really slow you would need more RAM

I am having a similar problem. We've gathered a lot of pictures and it's already eating up a lot of memory space. I am also not a computer whiz, so I was just thinking of getting an external drive to store all the pictures. There's a lot of these drives for sale at computer shops, and I'm just waiting for a sale to get mine.

Well to increase the memory you need to buy an additional hard disk.... You can actually buy an external hard disk also... But there will be two hard disk slots in your cpu.... So, you can actually buy another hard disk and connect it off... Whereas RAM is the memory which will define the speed of your pc... So, to increase the space do not think about increasing the RAM of your system....

RAM is a temporary memory, your system will use it only when you work with your computer(when computer turned on, when you typing, when you running programs, etc), the bigger the RAM the smoother the program/application will running. If you're talking about "memory or space for files" you must be talking about Harddisk, its a memory like memory card in your cellphone. It used as a memory space to store all of your files(all files will saved in harddisk). So, if you want to increase your space for files you have to buy a new harddisk with a bigger capacity than you already own. Make sure your new Harddisk match with your motherboard.
