Hi friends,
I had recently taken up a data entry kind of project in one of the freelancing sites. Fortunately(or rather unfortunately) my bid was selected. I was very happy about it as that was my fifth project through that site.
Unfortunately, the task given to me was more than what was given in the project description. I had bid three days for the whole project. But, seeing the work load I got demotivated. Additionally, it involved renaming of images of sexy females, which I did not want to do. After two days of working, the project buyer started agitating me by ask for project status every now and then. Since, I could not make much progress, I decided to buy some more time from the project buyer. But, he replied saying that my bid was chosen only due to the 'delivery time' that I had stated. I was irritated when I realized that the project buyer was trying to exploit me by dumping work for so less money and additionally troubling by asking status.
I conveyed him that his descriptions were not sufficient enough to convey the tasks involved in it. He just answered 'You should have got the details from me before bidding!!'
That was indeed a very blunt reply. I canceled the project, for which I will have to pay $5 and moreover, the project buyer has given me a very bad rating!!
It was my fault that I went on the description. But none of my other project buyers had fooled me like this!!
Have your ever been fooled like this?!

Infact I never did any such projects... Can you suggest me a site where I can get such work...
Sorry for what happened to you.... But never mind much... You would understand how you need to work from now on atleast... So, take it as the starting step...

Yeah i got fooled once.I won a bid of a translation project. The guy who gave me project was asking my gmail id as its not permitted to exchange id he told me to just write id name and don't add gmail.com.I thought i couldn't say know as this was the first time i was getting a project.I did his job but instead of giving it on site, i emailed it to him as he asked me to do.I never got the money.

No... not to that extent. Is there any way you can report this to the site? It seems as if the buyer was trying to take advantage of you and make you do more work than you contracted for. If his request didn't reflect the actual work he wanted, others need to know so they won't have to go through the same thing.
