If I saw a movie about the piano, I've always wanted to play it but I really hate practicing.Should I quit?
My hubby always said that practicing usually isn't fun but it is necessary.

When I first wanted to learn guitar, I had this CD that made me pluck on string over a minute or so, which got so repetive and boring that I gave up.
I came back around a year or so later and wanted to learn, so i learnt a song that I really liked at the time and kept playing it. It help me learn the basics of changing chord, learning different strumming patterns etc.
Try and find a real easy song, that you really like and learn it, then once you have, start to change the tempo and other things, then learn another song that is easy.
You may want to start practicing things then, to learn other songs... but always play songs YOU like! Otherwise it just gets boring

you shouldn't quit, you should stop practicing things you don't like practicing, pick a song that you really love and learn it, then you'll stay encouraged always. If you like Adele - Someone like you, learn to play it. Above it all, don't only learn by sheet music, but just learn to play chords on piano. Like that you can switch between reading notes / sheet music and chords.
