PS2 modification

Ps 2 modification is very tricky thing and mind that it will void your warranty and should be done by person who knows better.Even if you get how to modify it from net be very very serious otherwise you will destroy your ps 2

PS2 mods are sometimes dangerous for the PS2 itself. So doing it without any prior technical know how on the subject may put at risk your PS2. The best way to mod you PS2 is to search for technicians who know how to do it. Sometimes they need to hard mod it by affixing a mod chip on the motherboard. You can also soft mod it by using swap magic or the USB trick that they sell online. These does not need to alter the mother board of your ps2 however some tricks may require you to have the flip lid option rather than the sliding lid of the DVD tray. Again these can be done by a technician. It is a lot safer than hard modding but it would be a bit more complicated to do these tricks every time you want to play a game.
