Thanks goodness no one was hurt, the robber just get all the things he saw on our cabinet. They went inside through our window, destroying the grills and jalousie glass. Me and my husband are asleep that time, the police says that we got sprayed/ drugged to sleep, that's why we didn't even woke up when that happened.
My husband's laptop, cellphone, wallet and our money was taken. While my laptop (the one I'm using online) was actually hidden under my son' pillow (under his feet) that's where I always put it whenever I finish my online work. and my cellphone was under my pillow (Usually use it as an alarm).
It was really terrible, but all of those things that where taken where nothing compared to our safety...
now, I'm trying desperately to find a way locate my husbands cellphone but , there's no way... and if there is I can't find it on the net. also, I'm trying to track his laptop but we don't don't the serial # of the d*amd thing!
Just to let you guys know, Robberrs are now using spray that enables the victim to sleep soundly... so be careful.

Yes, like what everyone is saying, it's a good thing that it's just material that was taken and by God's grace can easily be replaced. Wow! I was wondering what type of gas or spray they used, taking out jalousies and iron grills would surely wake up anybody including neighbors not unless it's a real big house. Well anyway, do you have a guard dog? Maybe you can also consider setting up a surveillance camera, prices have gone down now and it might be worth the investment.Take care and stay safe

Wow!! Sorry to hear that this happened to you and your husband, but also Glad to hear that everyone is OK. This is not something anyone really wants to experience in their lifetime for sure. Hope there can be some solice to this, and hope something can be done about the lost items. I am sure you have cancelled the Cell phone, etc. so you will not continue to be charged.

It's important that none of your family members got hurt during this incident. Your discussion has reminded me to follow up on our fire/theft insurance. We don't have that much that can be stolen in terms of gadgets or money since as a rule we don't keep money in the house. Times are really unsafe nowadays. Imagine being robbed while you're sleeping in your own beds.
I actually am scared when I leave for work when I am in the night shift. My mom is left alone with the maid. Yes, the house is secured with locks and grills. But one can never tell.

Wow niairen01 how scary to know that while you are asleep some is in your home invading your privacy. I am glad no one was hurt and the material things although sad was the only damage.
It is such a bad feeling to know someone robs you and this I know as one year ago my home was robbed twice in 3 weeks. No one was home thankfully but amazing how they took my dryer and my stove right out the front door and no one absolutely no one saw them do it as it was done in the morning hour.
I am glad you all are okay, please be extra careful as the robber knows you house, oh please check all windows to make sure the robber did not unlatch one to come back. Be blessed.

It's really amazing how they find courage to do that! but heck, they can all take our things away, as long as they don't harm us. I was really scared and had to check up on my 3 years old son if he's ok.

You got away with no physical harm done thats important, i can say you are lucky.
Normally after such an incident you find your self sitting in front of a doctor.
Such incidents do leave a impact on the mind and gets us thinking about the safety precautions we take in our day to day life.
Intruders do come up with innovative ways doing their dirty work.Though sleep spray is something different. You will get to have your house under more secure safety setup.

Yes, I can't even sleep soundly, a bit noise wake me right an started making me paranoid.
Right now, it's 3am in the morning. I decided to work at this hour just to stay on guard. you see we've been like observed a couple of times now. the first time was like, 4am and I was actually doing my online work, I've heard that out padlock (gate) was banging, so I yelled at my husband that there's a person outside and that person suddenly ran away.
but after all our safety measures, still they were successful. I just hope i had woke up that time to work but... arg!

Oh my goodness, your story is scary. I didn't know that robbers now are doing this when they rob houses. I would definitely be sharing this to my family and friends. Thank goodness you are all alright, and they didn't hurt you, I think that is the most important thing in the end. All the material things can be bought again, but your life is most important.
