Things are worth what people will pay for them. Some records are quite rare and valuable, others (which may seem very much the same) are common and worth nothing.
Look up each title to see if it has any value. There are specialist record collectors which may be helpful in your research but they tend to pay less than you might get on eBay. eBay and Amazon are both good research tools
On the whole, first issues and early singles of an artist tend to be more valuable. For a collector, the condition is very important. The cover should be as clean and new-looking as possible and the record should be clean, unscratched and not warped.
If you are selling on eBay, make sure that you can pack something securely and calculate the packing and shipping costs before you list it. Take advantage of any free listing days that eBay have. A photo will help sell something but accurate listing in the right category is also important.
